Congratulations to Megan Gotowski for joining William & Mary as a visiting assistant teaching professor.
Meg was here at Rutgers Linguistics from 2017 to 2022 as a PhD student. With a primary focus on language acquisition and computational modelling, Meg will start this autumn teaching corpus methods for acquisition at W&M.

I graduated from the department in 2022 and had been at MIT (as a postdoc) and Pomona College (as a visiting assistant professor) before joining William & Mary as visiting faculty. My background is in language acquisition and computational modelling. I am teaching courses on corpus methods for acquisition at W&M, and I am looking forward to offering computational linguistics in the Spring– as well as some additional acquisition courses in the semesters ahead! I also recently received a teaching grant to help with the creation of undergraduate resources for coding and analyzing corpus data, which I hope to use in my classes.
