At the 11th Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Colloquium of Studies in Meaning (MACSIM 11), hosted by Johns Hopkins University on October 11, 2025, Rutgers was well represented.
Graduate student Quartz Colvin presented a poster titled “The Cheyenne Potential, irrealis, and Conditional modes.” Another current graduate student, Jiayuan Chen, gave a talk titled “Uniqueness presuppositions and where to find them: evidence from focus.” Dr. Ryan Walter Smith was also in attendance.
