Regine Cheek, LPN is a Medical Case Manager with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in the Infection Disease Department. She completed her Associate’s of Science Degree at Union County College with a concentration in Practical Nursing. Her specialties are in Maternal, Neonatal, OB/GYN, family planning, infectious disease & geriatric health. She developed strong evaluation and treatment-planning skills through various positions held in her 14 years tenure at University Hospital. Regine has comprehensive medical case management skills in providing the provision of treatment adherence counseling to ensure readiness for, and adherence to, complex HIV/AIDS treatments. Which include the following: Initial assessment of service needs; Development of a comprehensive and individualized service plan; Provision of services required to implement the plan; Monitoring to assess the efficacy of the plan; and Periodic re-evaluation and adaptation of the plan as necessary over the life of the client at Rutgers NJMS-Medicine-Infectious Disease. She is currently keeping with her clinical skills working with Maximin Health Agency and Bayada Hone Health Care to fulfill her calling and love for hands-on care. Regine enjoys spending time with her family and cooking in her free time; and most proud of hosting holiday dinners and gatherings to bring friends and family together.
