Community Advisory Board
The purpose of the Research Community Advisory Board for the Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School Clinical Research Center (RCAB) is to assure that the voices of those affected by HIV in New Jersey are incorporated into all aspects of the program. This includes, but is not limited to the design of clinical trials, educational activities, and operations of the program.
We believe that through appropriately conducted clinical research, “getting to zero” HIV infections, zero HIV related deaths and zero HIV stigma is possible. We believe that research, education and advocacy contribute in a meaningful way to achieving these ends.
- Individuals affected by HIV/AIDS living or working in the state of New Jersey
- Employees of the Rutgers, NJMS CRC, or Rutgers, NJMS ID Practice will not be considered members and will not have voting privileges
- Prospective members must complete an application for membership in which they provide their contact information, a statement of their interest in the group and a brief description of any relevant experience.
Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month with the exception of July and August from 3:00 – 4:30pm in the Ambulatory Care Center E-Level Conference Room.
