COVID-19 Protocol Updates

Hello!

We, the staff here in the ID Practice, miss you and hope you and your loved ones are well. The safety and health of our patients and staff are our highest priority! We are taking precautions and adopting best practices to ensure that we provide support, comfort, and continued care for our patients.  Some of these include:

  1. Patients, staff and visitors (when permitted as below) will be screened for fever by taking a temperature before entering the building.
  2. Everyone will be required to wear a mask or face covering upon entering the building, per CDC, New Jersey Department of Health and University Hospital universal masking guidelines.
  3. Social and physical distancing measures in all employee and patient areas – such as minimizing time in waiting areas, spacing seats at least 6 feet apart, marking floors with tape at proper intervals and maintaining low patient flow so as not to cause crowding.
  4. All staff will wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with all patients
  5. More frequent cleaning and disinfection of all exam rooms and common areas.
  6. Visitors are restricted from accompanying patients unless they are assisting a patient as a part of their care team.
  7. Strict hand hygiene and availability of hand sanitizer in all employee and patient areas.
