About Us:
Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Prevention Unit is conveniently located within the Infectious Disease Practice in Newark, NJ. Funded through the Ryan White Grant, we offer various preventative services for community health that includes, but is not limited to, rapid HIV testing & counseling services, PrEP and PEP for HIV prevention, patient navigation, and outreach services. In addition to HIV preventative services, NJMS Prevention offers partner services for other communicable diseases like syphilis.
Clinical prevention proves critical when educating and empowering our communities through outreach, routine testing, PrEP, and providing resources and referrals, as needed. Check out the links below to learn more about what NJMS Prevention offers!
