Who We Are

The Rutgers Infectious Diseases Practice (IDP), located at University Hospital in Newark, NJ, was established in 1989 to provide comprehensive and compassionate evaluation, management and treatment for patients diagnosed with infectious diseases including hepatitis infections (B and C), HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) transplant or surgery related infections, and overseas acquired parasitic or malarial infections as well as other infectious diseases.
