Bone and Joint Infections
The Orthopedic Infectious Diseases service provides a collaborative approach to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of bone and joint infections including those associated with prostheses and implants, orthopedic trauma and oncology procedures, spinal surgery and diabetic foot ulcers. We work closely with colleagues in multiple surgical and medical disciplines to provide optimal multidisciplinary care and manage a busy outpatient parenteral therapy (OPAT) program, integral to the care of patients requiring prolonged antimicrobial infusion therapy and follow up.
