Sandra has been with the IDP since 2009 when she started the case management program. She is an AIDS certified registered nurse and has worked in the field of HIV since graduating with a BSN and MPH from Columbia University in 1992. Sandra was a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, West Africa and has worked internationally and in the US in a variety of roles in HIV care and treatment. Sandra expects to retire one of these days. In the mean time she continues to collaborate with the team and also tries to bring her art and photography background to clinic projects whenever she can.
