Bunky Bundle – 10 years later

The Bunky Bundle is a collection of articles written by E. M. Jellinek (a.k.a. “Bunky,” 1890–1963), one of the most important founders of alcohol and addiction studies in the modern era as well as works related to his work, published in the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs—a journal Jellinek helped establish.

Man sitting  in front of a bookshelfDocumenting Jellinek’s career was in the focus of the Center of Alcohol Studies Library, which was also born from his work to collect, abstract, and index the alcohol literature. To commemorate the 125th anniversary of his birth, library staff collated materials that represented his unique career for a special edition of the CAS Library News.

More research on Jellinek resulted in the three articles below, published the May 2016 issue of the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, along with a comprehensive bibliography of Jellinek’s works (open access).
