Amgad is a part time PhD student at the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Rutgers University. He received his B.S. in Biology from NJCU with a Chemistry Minor. Amgad has over 15 years of pharmaceutical experience in analytical and formulations development. He has formulations experience in a variety of dosage forms such as oral solids (tablets and capsules), powder for reconstitution and lyophilized ODT. Amgad also has experience in several Technologies such as Hot Melt Extrusion (HME), wet and dry granulation (high shear and low shear), direct blending, encapsulation, fluid bed, pan coating, lyophilization, roller compaction, extrusion spheronization and compression. He is currently a formulation scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.
