Dr. Syrett was an invited speaker at the “Children Learning Adjectives” workshop organized by the Leeds Child Development Unit at the University of Leeds (UK). The format of the workshop is particularly interesting, because it brought together researchers, teachers, clinicians, and other professionals working in speech, language, communication, and development to learn about adjectives and why they are so challenging for children with Developmental Language Disorder and other challenges to language learning.
