LSA 93

Vera Gor and Dr. Kristen Syrett presented their talk entitled, “Not-at-Issueness and Principle C: Information status influences judgments of structurally illicit coconstruals” at the 93rd Annual Meeting of the Linguistic Society of America in New York in January. This work is part of Vera’s dissertation research, advised by Kristen.

Jess Law and Dr. Kristen Syrett presented their talk entitled, “Experimental support for the discourse translucency of bare noun phrases in Mandarin” at the LSA Annual Meeting in the same session on Experimental Semantics and Pragmatics.

Over 760 abstracts were submitted to the annual meeting this year, and the acceptance rate for papers was only 22%. Way to represent, LDLS!
