From August 10-12, graduate students Jiayuan Chen and Ariela Ye gave two presentations at the 28th Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar (SICOGG 28) at Chungnam National University in Daejeon, Korea.
One presentation was a talk titled “On say-conditionals: from speech verbs to conditional marking” and the other one was a poster titled “Demonstratives in epithets cross-linguistically.” Jiayuan also met his undergrad 201 Instructor from 2018, Kunio Kinjo, at the conference (pictured above!).
