Over spring break, Aidan Sharma and Ariela Ye traveled to the University of Southern California to give two presentations at The Workshop on Theoretical East Asian Linguistics (TEAL 14). Ariela gave a poster presentation and the two of them gave a talk together.
Their joint presentation was titled “‘Extra’ cái Definites in Vietnamese” and a pdf of their full abstract can be accessed here. Ariela’s poster presentation was about “The direct indirect object asymmetry in Korean honorification” and the abstract for her poster (pictured below) can be found here.
