Ariela Ye Gives Presentation at NELS 55

On October 18th,  one of our fellow graduate students, Ariela Ye, presented at The 55th Annual Meeting of the North East Linguistic Society (NELS 55), held at Yale University. Her talk, “A Say verb or Complementizer: Analyzing shuo Following Communicative and Non-Communicatives,” explored how the say verb shuo in Mandarin behaves after different predicates.

NELS 55 was hosted at Yale University from October 17th–18th, 2024.
