Beryl Bui Gives Invited Talk at Yale

Current graduate student Beryl Bui presented her QP1 at the Yale Syntax Reading Group. Her talk, titled “Born to be bound: A unified account for the logophoric, reflexive, and first-person uses of Vietnamese ‘mình’,” explored how a single Vietnamese form can surface across multiple pronominal domains and what this reveals about binding and perspective-taking in the language.
