On November 7, Professor Ryan Walter Smith gave an invited talk at the University of British Columbia’s Linguistics Department. The talk was titled “Growth & Improvement: a quality semantics for partial change nominals.” While he was there, he also made time to meet with several UBC graduate students and faculty.
