Congratulations to graduate student Hyunjung Joo, whose paper, co-authored with Mariapaola D’Imperio, has been published in Language and Speech.
The article, titled “The Perception of Lexical Pitch Accent in South Kyungsang Korean: The Relevance of Accent Shape” (2025), investigates how accent shape influences the perception of lexical pitch accent in South Kyungsang Korean, contributing to our understanding of prosodic typology and phonological representation.
