Quartz Colvin Presents at Language at Crossroads

On April 17, current graduate student Quartz Colvin presented some of their work on Cheyenne at the first annual Language at Crossroads conference at Rutgers University. The talk was on “Vowel epenthesis in Cheyenne verb initials,” investigating an epenthesis pattern that occurs within a prosodic word (the verb stem) but not at a prosodic word boundary (not between a preverb and verb stem, for example).
