The seventh African Linguistics School (ALS7), a two-week institute that brings the latest in Linguistic Theory and African Linguistics to graduate students from all over Africa and other parts of the world took place at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, from July 22 to August 2, 2024.
This year’s school was attended by 69 students from 11 African countries, USA, and Europe, and by 19 professors worldwide. The ALS is a very competitive school that is free of charge to students, including transportation, room, and board.
