To improve the quality and transition of healthcare, robust data management platforms are necessary to analyze clinical data which are heterogeneous in terms of volume, velocity, variety and veracity. In this Application Note we present a novel multi-database management system (MAV-clic) that complies HIPAA requirements. MAV-clic can handle large scaled data using high performance computing technology with an automated, encrypted, and centralized manner. MAV-clic is capable of receiving, cleansing, managing, and aggregating clinical data with various formats from multiple sources. It also features analyzing, visualizing, sharing, and reporting various quality metrics in a secure and reproducible fashion. The user friendly interface of MAV-clic offers interactive, multi-roles based operations.
