On November 14th and 15th, the Rutgers Department of Anthropology will be holding the Rutgers Indigenous Languages Colloquium as part of their speaker series in honor of the UN’s year of indigenous languages. One of our senior graduate students, Livia Souza, has been invited to speak about her work, and our own Mark Baker will also be presenting at the colloquium. In addition, Ken Safir will be giving an introduction for Pius Akumbu on Babanki. All talks are on the 15th. Further information is below:
