Examplify

ExamSoft exams are taken through Examplify, which is installed on all student devices managed by RSDM IT.

Note: Students that are unable to access their Microsoft Surface while classes are being conducted remotely in response to COVID-19 will be allowed to use a personally owned device to take ExamSoft exams.

 

Secure Exams

Most exams are conducted as secure exams. During a secure exam your device will be disconnected from the network and you will be prevented from accessing any other application until the exam has completed.

As you provide responses to questions they are automatically saved to a file on your computer. Should it be necessary to shutdown or reboot your computer during an exam, your computer will automatically re-enter the secure exam mode with all of your previously provided responses loaded.

Once you have completed your exam, your computer will exit the secure exam mode, automatically re-connect to an available wireless network, and upload the exam to ExamSoft’s servers for grading.
