Office of Academic Success (OAS)

The Office of Academic Success (OAS) provides one-on-one and group tutoring for all undergraduate nursing students. OAS provides academic coaching for both graduate and undergraduate students. The Office is committed to enhancing student retention and success by providing assistance to students through high-quality, innovative academic support services.

Learning Center 

The Learning Center provides coaching and tutoring services for a range of subjects in either small groups or one-on-one. The Learning Center tutors are successful undergraduates who are trained to clarify important concepts with the understanding that everyone can learn and improve given sufficient time, attention, and encouragement.

The Writing Center

The Writing Center at Rutgers University–Newark offers writing tutoring and writing workshops to all undergraduate students currently enrolled in classes at Rutgers University–Newark. Tutors help students become more independent readers and writers capable of responding well to the demands of writing within the university.

School of Nursing Advising Center 

The Advising Center advises the Four-Year Traditional Program students. EOF scholars are advised to seek academic advising from their EOF counselors, but are also encouraged to reach out to the advising center for additional support regarding academic policies and procedures.

Division of Student Affairs for the School of Nursing

The Division of Student Affairs is here to serve both prospective and enrolled students. The Office is involved with student recruitment, admission, progression and graduation, and functions as a resource for faculty and students with University-related student issues. Counseling Center (Health & Wellness)

The counseling center provides one-on-one counseling, support groups, psychiatric care, and online resources. All services are free and confidential.
