All incoming SN-EOF scholars who attend the Summer Institute Program will live on-campus for 5-weeks, receive supplemental instruction and support classes in Math, Literature and English Comp, Creative Thinking Skills, and Anatomy and Physiology.  Additionally, all scholars will take a 3 credit Principles of Psychology course that will count towards their nursing curriculum. Scholars will build connections with peers, establish a meaningful relationship with their EOF counselors and faculty, as well as get fully acclimated at the Rutgers School of Nursing.

All incoming SN-EOF scholars MUST attend and complete the EOF Summer Institute. Admission to Rutgers University-Newark School of Nursing is contingent upon the successful completion of the summer program.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS:

As per the university guidelines, all incoming Summer Institute students must be fully vaccinated (Pfizer/Moderna – 2 doses, J&J – 1 dose, and the booster) by June 1st. Students must upload proof of vaccine card by June 1st.
