The CDR was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Joel Zatz on July 14, 2020. Dr. Zatz was a beloved professor at the Rutgers’ Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy for 35 years and a dear longtime friend of the Center for Dermal Research. Many of you may remember Dr. Zatz from our “Introduction to Developing Skin Products” and “Insights into Skin Product Development” courses which were co-sponsored with BADF. We are grateful we had the opportunity to know Dr. Zatz and will be forever appreciative for his support of the CDR.
