Rebecca Risman is currently doing a rotation with the group as part of her MS studies in Biomedical Engineering. She is a BS graduate of Rutgers BME and will join our efforts on improved delivery of antibiotics through biofilms.

Welcome Alisha

Alisha Zhu has joined the group as an undergraduate researcher via the Aresty Research Assistant program. Alisha is a rising sophomore from the Honors College who is majoring in BME. She will be working virtually with us until we are able to get back into the laboratories.

Faith Northern has joined the group for the summer as a participant in the RISE and REU in Cellular Bioengineering programs. William Graduates!

Lab member William Xu was recognized among the 2020 Biomedical Engineering B.S. graduates today. William was a James J. Slade Scholar, completing his thesis entitled, “Nanoparticle Drug Delivery for Cystic Fibrosis.” William is continuing on as a student and laboratory researcher as he pursues his Master’s in our BME program.

Welcome Swarnima

Swarnima Roychowdhury has joined the group as an undergraduate researcher via the Aresty Summer Science program. Swarnima is a rising sophomore from the Engineering Honors Academy who is majoring in BME. She will be working virtually with us until we are able to get back into the laboratories.

Charlie heading back to Penn

My appointment for Fall 2019 as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania has been approved. I will be hosted by Professors Vladimir Muzykantov and Jake Brenner and very much looking forward to my time there.
