I am a research assistant at the Laboratory for Biomaterials Research. I help manage the biology and chemistry laboratories. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Genetics from Rutgers University in 2014. Prior to joining LBR, I worked on projects involving DNA repair and genetics of complex traits. I use my background in genetics and cell biology to support research on the biological implications of polymers made at the center. I’m especially interested in studying how physical and chemical signals can be used to direct cell fate. My favorite part about working at LBR is being a part of a team with expertise in so many different areas.
