After the grand opening in February 2019, the SEBS Little Free Library seemed to be doomed, as Rutgers shut down within a few weeks in mid-March due to the pandemic. Foran Hall was accessible with key cards only, the Chang Science Library was closed indefinitely.

However, as people working in labs or entered for another, legitimate reason confirmed, the SEBS Little Free Library not only survived, but was blooming, thanks to many-many anonymous volunteers. They brought books and book-related items, took books, and kept the place neat and organized. Thanks to all who sent pictures, too.
