Rutgers University Libraries have a lot to offer! In addition to traditional content like books and journal articles, we also provide visual media. If books aren’t sparking your interest or you want to shake up your current mode of entertainment, you can find videos in our collection by following these easy steps:

  1. Visit the Rutgers library homepage
  2. Search for a topic of interest in the QuickSearch searchbox
  3. Check “Limit To” “Available Online” in the left panel
  4. Filter by “Resource Type” in the left panel to “Video”
  5. Once you have found a title, click on “View Online”
  6. Log in with your NetID to watch the selected videoQuickSearch logo

Swank Digital Campus

Swank Digital Campus – With over 20,000 titles in its catalog, this is a large collection of Hollywood studio films and independent, international, and documentary titles. Rutgers has leases to many of popular movies in various categories in its browsable platform.

Academic Video Online

Academic Video Online: Premium (AVON)  is a collection of more than 50,000 videos (ranging from the beginnings of cinema to the current day). Topics include Art & Design, Health Sciences, History, Literature & Language, Music & Performing Arts, Science & Engineering, and Social Sciences.

Kanopy

Kanopy has a selection of streaming video titles for educational purposes, including documentaries, independent and foreign films, classics, and feature films.
