Join us for a fun stressbuster event on Friday, April 23, 2 pm. Registration is open for our workshop Graphic Design is my Passion: The Sequel!
You may remember our first workshop, Graphic Design is my Passion, that taught you the basics of the online design platform Canva. Canva is a website used to create visual content such as social media posts, graphics, brochures, presentations, posters, and more. We’ll demonstrate how to use the free version of Canva––no account is needed! The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, and Canva provides you with curated color palettes, font pairings, templates, graphics, and images. Designs can also be shared between users for easy collaboration. For more details, check out our blog post announcing the event.
In our upcoming workshop, we’ll explore different social media uses, Canva’s hidden features, and the use of animations to create eye-catching designs. We’ve come a long way from cute images of frogs and pigs! View our gallery of designs created by past attendees. If you have an astute eye, you may have noticed that we’ve been using Canva to create our logos and flyers. Check out Judit’s design, featuring a poem by Walt Whitman, created for National Poetry Month!
Registration for this workshop is required. You will receive a link to the event after registering.
